Brain injuries cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to treat and often result in lifelong disability. The widespread prevalence of TBI, the devastating nature of injury, and the high treatment costs associated with this complex disease define a silent and sinister epidemic. There remains no FDA-approved treatment for TBI.
